Original issue: D/C by caterpillar, hawk, eel, and get dropped from xbox live every 5 to 10 minutes.
Adjusted the original post to make it more read friendly
What has been done so far:
Xbox360 has fixed IP
Google DNS
Connected Xbox directly to modem/router with LAN cable
LAN cable is tested and is working correctly
Portforwarding has been set.
Porttriggering has been set.
uPNP is enabled
Put xbox360 in DMZ (test did not work)
Modem/Router has been set to factory default.
Disabled firewall. (test did not work)
Time set properly on modem/router.
Cleared Xbox360 cache several times.
Rebooted modem/router several times.
22-09-2014:
Modem back to default mode.
Tried it without any settings and xbox on DHCP mode. 60 minutes playtime
Put fixed ip on xbox, put it in DMZ mode, 60 minutes playtime first time and 30 minutes after each modem reboot
23-09-2014
Called ISP to reset the modem to factory defaults. If I disconnect again, I will ask them to analyse my cabelline and modem to see if there is anything wrong with it. But as far as I can test it, there is nothing wrong with the line, it is stable and working as it should.
But got to try everything right?
Called ISP, nothing wrong no drops in connection speed.
Formatted the Xbox reinstalled the game
DId not work.
All other devices are not connected while playing Destiny.
If I rebooted the modem after an error, errors have decreased, but still they are showing up every 30~90 minutes. But if I dare to start Destiny after an error message, well Destiny starts to throw me out every -blam!-ing 5 minutes.
Update 28-09-2014
I am so tired of the disconnect errors. That I have decided to give up for now.
Even the clear cache and reboot option, does not work anymore..
Update 03-10-2014
Bought an new router: Asus RT-N66U
Let my ISP put the modem into bridge mode.
Was able to play almost an hour without disconnection errors. Then I logged out to do something else.

Edited by dubbeledraaideur: 10/1/2014 12:16:42 PMJust got reply from my ISP. The firmware of the modem I got is faulty... They are working on new firmware for the modem, but they have no indication when it is going to released... An strange answer tho, because an coworker has the same modem and has no connection errors... (But one has an PS4 and an 60Mb connection and the other xbox360 with an 180Mb connection, that could be the difference, because the cache is not used as much on faster internet). One short-term option left: Test the xbox at my parents house and if it works swap the modems. My parents do not own any devices/programs that need to maintain multiple connections on an high level at the same time. Long-term option: save money for an gaming router and put the modem in bridge mode.
