ITT people don't understand videogame development.
Take your time, though I await the release eagerly, spork in-hand.

ITT people expect a quality product shipped, not whenever they get around to making it good because they couldn't meet deadlines, or cut content to make more money. Stop being a fanboy and open your eyes. Example: You go to the same resturaunt every weekend for years. You always order a medium rare steak. This time it comes out burnt. Do you say, "well the chef normally cooks the steak excellent, I'll let it slide this time, hell I'll even pay for the second steak to make up for the first one!"? Let's pretend I am the customer, and you are the waiter. I tell you the steak is burnt. You say to me "but look, the core is still good, you can eat that while you wait for the other steak the chef is cooking. It'll be ready in 3 hours. Also, you need to pay half price for the new steak." This is literally a perfect parallel to this. The thing is, if it was food in a resturaunt, this would be completely unacceptable. Because of your passion for games, specfically bungie games, some of you are letting that blind you. The delivered product is not acceptable, and promising to deliver in the future and even doing it, will never make up for what has occurred. You can earn your respect back, but this will always tarnish bungie.

I say for them to take their time because my theory is that they have over 75% of the employees working on Destiny 2.
