Regarding Upcoming Destiny Content
Hey, Bungie Community.
I hope you had a nice weekend.
We noticed that you noticed that we already have plans for upcoming content packs in Destiny.
We do! They have activity names (which may or may not change) and we have a really good idea what they're going to contain. They even have placeholder nodes in the Director, as you've already discovered.
But neither of the Expansion Packs we've announced are finished.
People at Bungie are hard at work to complete content for our first post launch pack, "The Dark Below," as I type these words. It will be finished soon. It releases in December. Soon, we'll detail it out for you so you can see exactly what we've been working on.

What we want is transparency. Unless some guy from Activision is standing behind you with a gun to your head, I'd suggest you guys did what you claim to be and -LISTEN- to your community. Talk in topics, reply to users like myself, who want nothing more than to understand what reasons you had for certain things during the development. This is game development. Not NATO Cosmic Top Secret intelligence. We, as your playerbase deserve to know.

Let them work on the stuff that was shown to us before releasedate stuff that made us preorder this game. Give us a decent storyline that actually wants us to buy any of ur future DLC. We gave you our money now give us what you promised! If not then i wouldnt bother much with developing the DLC's because you really think after givening us this for 65 euros people gonna give you more money for more of the same???

lol bungie. No new content, but iron banner? Which is really just going to be another way to play the same crucible that's already in the game.... You won't be keeping players around that long, but i suppose you figure everyone is going to be dumb enough to just drop another 20 bucks by then. I am strongly hoping at least 50% of the people who bought destiny move on to another game and let this garbage go down in flames. You didn't deliver a good product. I hope you suffer losses. If your company goes down in flames, so be it. Out of the ashes will resurrect a new smaller game developer who won't sign contracts it can't fulfill, and will make a quality game. This is exactly how capitalism works. You shaft your customer base, they shaft you back.

I like this game...I really do. But you guys sold your soul to the Devil by allowing Activi$ion fund this game. They are perhaps the MOST GREEDY $OB'$ I've ever seen. Look at what they've done to CoD. It's the same BS garbage game in a new package, not to mention CoD: Ghost(s)(not sure which it is really), literally has a scene for scene take out from CoD 2. Look at what they did to World of Warcraft. Anything these $cumbag$ touch eventually turns to ash, and they then move on to the next thing to suck dry. YOU guys need to figure out 1: How to pay back these greedy $ob'$ and take back your game. 2: Push out an actual full game (to include different story lines, more dynamic weapon system, and perhaps a difference in game play from each class. IE, make it so not ALL classes can use the same guns. Make it so Titan's can't use sniper rifles, but use only shot guns. Warlocks can't use shot guns or sniper rifles but use Fusion Cannons, and of course Hunters, can't use the other 2, but of course can use sniper rifles.). 3: Quit punishing people who happen to come across "extra" content. You wanted us to explore? We're doing it and those who are getting someplace that YOU guys didn't secure properly, the player gets punished for it..little unfair don't you think? I mean hell after all you only released about 1/2 a game AT BEST.

How am i supposed to play your game for 3 months until first 'expansion' (more like a $10 map pack...) when there's absolutely NOTHING to do? Do peeps at Bungie believe that doing the same motherf*cking bounties every day for 3 months is fun? Come da f*ck on, this is ridiculous. Your game is EMPTY, zero, nada, NO SH*T is in it. Its a shell, a shiny shell with nothing inside.

1 ReplyIf you have 10 years of content planned, and it's taken you 5+ years to create enough content to barely hold us over for a month, not including this content you claim is being worked on as we speak that at most can only be a few hours of gameplay, how does bungie hope to keep players playing for so long without the vast world and range options from everything we were shown to everything we hoped for?

I guess it kind of sucks you had to point this out. Destiny isn't the only game that had placeholders for upcoming DLC.

ok but just to let you know that these DLCs are standing between me and trading this game for another with an actual story that doesn't have activision yelling at them to decrease the cut scenes because it annoys their 12 years old players or making them break the game into DLCs, the current story seems like an intro to a really good game i just hope that it's not the only story related content that the game has to offer cuz if it's than as soon as i do everything to be done with this game (reach level cap, get good weapons, finish raids) than i'm trading this game or simply leaving it on the shelf until Bungie stops listening to assholes and create what was expected to have a ratingd like Halo's.
