New Loot Cave! Enjoy!
DISCLAIMER: I am NOT saying I am the first but I did find it just roaming around looking for farming spots, if whoever, if there is someone who was before me sees this congratulations on finding it first!

EDIT: All the people saying, great now Bungie will patch this one. I have tons of more spots they patch one show another.
EDIT x2: To the left of the truck I was standing upon in the video, there is a platform that is a 10x better spot to view the cave just a word of the wise :D

Actually i tried both spots for 2 hours and its no difference to doing tiger strikes over all.so everyone can decide how they wanna “farm“ i think its fair like it is.

4 RepliesThis is pathetic. You guys really are too lazy to even play the game? Even after Bungie said cave farming is not right and fixe it, you manage to find a new one that they're just gonna fix. It's like GTA Online. Impatient players find an exploit (or in GTA glitches most often) and use it until the devs patch it then find a new one.

Reminds me of Bethesda's style with fixing Skyrim, there were broken quests and actual glitchy issues but the real #1 priority was patching up exploits that players enjoyed while ignoring the real problems. I understand that you want to make things "fair" Bungie, but you finished this product and shipped it out, we paid for it fair and square. If your developers were inept enough to overlook some spawning and loot drops, it isn't my fault. If I am able to take advantage of what I paid for, that's fair. It's more of an insult more than anything else, to not give a shit about actual broken issues and take away some harmless, fun exploits. The point is, how far will this be taken, what's next on the chopping block, how else can we possibly be punished by these meaningless updates. It won't stop with one cave, I guarantee it. If you are going to cater to a particular group of crybabies, make it the group that is against all the cosmetic changes you have planned out that will further break our game. As developers you can toss and turn nightly, thinking about unfairness and whatever, but you can't be doing all these changes, wasting program hours, not when it isn't serious. Concentrate on ways to IMPROVE your god damn game, like more interesting bounties for christ's sakes, create additional places to explore on existing planets, and open up other planets as well, oh and BTW you don't have to throw in OP bosses just because it's something new. DUH. Add more to the tower, make it feel like a busy place, and improve on those stupid looking NPC's there.

5 RepliesAll this talk about the "new cave" is stupid. Play the -blam-ing game and stop trying to take short cuts. I'm happy everyone's "hard earned" legendaries are becoming rare in the new patch. Why would you complain about your money when we all have bought games we don't like. Just because there is a forum doesn't mean jack. Get off, get over it, and quit complaining! People that actually like the game can use this as a place to connect and group up to do strikes and special missions.

I was running around doing some Patrol Missions today and had to go near the 'loot cave'. Couldn't find where exactly I needed to go and it took me some time to find the proper spot. This, however, apparently upset 3 'loot cavers' and one was shooting at me, throwing stuff and trying to punch me and was seriously messing with my Patrol Mission. I didn't mind 'loot caving' at the first spot and didn't mind it in general, but please, don't get upset when I have a perfectly good reason for running around near a 'loot cave'. I don't like people trying to mess up other people's way of playing, like 'cave sitters' and such, but I'm not one of those. The way this person reacted was not cool, just be patient next time! I saved a screenshot of the list of players who were near me and saved a gameplay video. To be fair, I then ended up messing with them for a bit, I changed my Titan subclass to Defender, waited until I could put up my bubble and put one around them. One managed to kill himself twice with their rocket launcher :D I had my little revenge and moved on.

I paid for the game the way it shipped. Bungie should not be allowed to change things in a game I paid a hundred dollars for. I still haven't decided if im trading in for Borderlands pre sequel. At least they let farmers farm. Bungie should maintain the servers and release new content, not decide that because we aren't playing how they intended that they'll suck all fun out till we do. FU Bungie.
