Wow man. Thanks for writing all this, it made me realize I'm not alone in the frustration. I have the exact same issue as you "Hawk" and "Caterpillar" and disconnected from Xbox Live. I have tried all your steps as well. If I am lucky I get an hour between disconnects. Tonight was every 5-10 minutes. I am also on the Xbox 360. I use Shaw in Canada with a Motorola router. I am wondering what your ISP and your router model is?

  • I have the exact same issue. When did you get your modem? I got mine a couple days after I got destiny and had nothing but errors since they installed it

    I have an Arris (Motorrola) 2 in 1 router. Still having issues with disconnects every 15 minutes or so :( I got the modem from Shaw 3 months or so ago. It's the new one they are apparently using for high speed customers.

  • ISP is Ziggo Modem: Ubee EVW321B I live in the Netherlands. Also an coworker of my, has same ISP, same modem and also an xbox360. no connection errors. He has an 180Mb/s subscription with 18Mb/s upload, I have an 30mb/s subscription with 3Mb upload But according to the forum, even people with fiber have the issue.

  • Thanks for the info. I hope this gets fixed soon. The lack of much acknowledgment by Bungie about any patches is very worrying. I have noticed that I do better on emptier servers. I have a feeling the disconnects are as a result of security conflict between different users but I might be wrong.

  • I'm with shaw I have a Motorola surfboard modem and just yesterday evening I was able to play without disconnects. I don't know if you guys are having the same problem still with caterpillar errors but it seems someone is doing something. I live in Victoria canada . keep your heads up bungie will pull through

  • Ok sounds good. Yeah it's very bad today (every 15 minutes). Are you on Xbox or PSN? That router is known to have issues with Xbox Live and they are working on a firmware for it at Shaw due to be released this fall. Ttyl.
