Would you think of adding Scope Glint to the railgun, so PvPers know you're sighting in with a one-hit-kill weapon? Aside from this, maybe more distinction can be made from a tracking rocket launcher, which maintains its potential for long range kills with similar wait times from trigger pull to kill confirmation (charge up = rocket flight). I like the idea but it does need development.

  • Yes, actually! A fiend also suggested it. Keep the sniper rifle's scope glint, and possibly ad a charge-up animation that grows brighter the closer the weapon is to firing. As for the distinction between tracking launcher and this. It has the ability to score critical hits, which a Tracking launcher cannot as far as I am aware.
