Don't know, are we still told to moderate the forums ourselves? I always thought the mute feature was a good one, but not one to replace actual moderation .

Yes we're supposed to self-moderate, but we also are supposed to have actual moderators. I personally don't want to mute half the site's users when moderators could simply fix the problems.
