I cannot get this sorted, I found yet another possibility why I get disconnected. I just found out that my modem 1 hour behind in time. This brings very very very bad memories from an time I was network/system administrator for an youth center. We had 6 netgear routers, 2 of them worked fine. 4 of them did not work, because they were 1 hour behind on the CET... And I could not get that fixed. (In the end we threw away the routers). Edit: got it solved luckily. Edit2: The connection is almost fully stable now, Got thrown out by caterpillar, but not every 5 minutes and it was not during an mission luckily :) I will summarize what I have done in the 1st post.

  • I tried playing with the recommended ports and triggers enabled, no other devices connected, still the same: caterpillar. I was on a story mission on Venus, not doing anything at the moment (earing lunch) and my friend the caterpillar appeared.

  • Did you also check your the time of the router, if it is 1 hour off, it could cause issues. If you have Ziggo, disable the Ziggo hotspot via ziggo.nl, I forgot to mention I disabled that as well. (Then your modem will reboot after disabling that).

  • I did. But now I disabled WiFi spots and reset my modem. Just been playing for quite a while, it seems to have gotten better.
