I'm confused, didn't they conclude the story? Makuta Terridax is kind of dead, and it wouldn't be the same without him as the antagonist.

Makuta might have been dead, but they still had a TON of stuff they still had to resolved. The last bits of story we got were some pretty darn earth-shattering revelations. Like that one of the Great Beings had been living in disguise inside Mata Nui alongside the Matoran all along, some kind of Toa-killer that the Great Beings had created as a precaution for if the beings from inside Mata Nui ever went rogue/evil and tried to conquer Spherus Magna had activated and also gotten loose onto the planet, something was going around and killing important and powerful beings from inside Mata Nui like Tren Krom for instance, a gold creature that had been created from Energized Protodermis had enslaved one of the Toa teams and had an army of Skakdi at the ready to do something nefarious on Spherus Magna.....there was all kinds of things they had still going that they left us hanging on :/

Edited by Toa Axis: 9/15/2014 12:33:17 AMWell it's not really known whether this is a reboot or a continuation, though it looks to be a continuation judging from the pictures. But the story ended on a note where it would be a decent enough conclusion, but was open-ended enough if a continuation was to come into play (heck, I think there were a few stories written after the sets ended, the most notable thing being Kharzani's death). There were also several plot points that Greg Farshety didn't get to execute. Besides, Teridax wasn't really that great of a villain anyways :/

Edited by Toa Axis: 9/15/2014 2:53:37 AMEh. Most of what he did was sit behind the scenes rubbing his hands together saying "I have a plan...". I did like what they did with him during the Mahri arc, though. Also, since Mata Nui and Teridax are both dead (or at least I hope so), they can go back to being what they originally were: legends. It's kind of poetic really.

Well, Mata Nui is still technically alive, he's dwelling inside the Mask of Life, but he is inactive, so I guess he's kind of in the same position he was at the very beginning of the whole series. So yeah, it is kind of poetic in a way :P

I guess so, as long as they make reference to them in a respectful manner I'll be satisfied.
