I don't really see much of a difference when i have an open NAT type either way, if there is some kind of advantage with a wired connection please tell me so i'm not left in the dark.

I'm not sure how much affect NAT type has in a game with dedicated servers. Other than the fact that Bungie recommends an open NAT. In p2p games with client-side hit detection, the closed NAT player has to route all of his data through the host instead of directly to the player he is engaged with. The lag compensation makes the closed NAT guy see things happen in a normal manner. Meanwhile the open/moderate NAT player is getting delayed data from the player standing in front of him due to the rerouting through the host. Lagger advantage. But this isn't CoD or a Naughty Dog game, so maybe NAT type isn't all that important. The real issue is your use of wireless b/g/n/ac. No matter the signal strength or the speedtest result, on WiFi you are susceptible to interference. And you will likely get some. This data loss confuses and or delays the host on your situation. If it happens too often you could get kicked. Even though the game could seem to be playing normally to you, its actually a bullet sponging nightmare for your opponents. Always game wired whenever possible.
