Just completed the nightfall weekly strike. SHANKS ARE SOOOOO OP . So yeah... they gave the shanks shields.... Both level 25, had to take it real slow... We both got 500 vanguard rep, he got exotic gauntlets and I got gypped with a legendary auto rifle with the same stats as the one I already had, i mean, it is a legendary, still a great reward but no point for me.... Friggen did all of that for nothin .. :( .. So after that we did the weekly HEROIC strike on level 28, which wasn't nearly as hard as the nightfall one, I got a bunch of strange coins and was pumped to go buy something with them until I couldn't find Xur (agent of the nine).. turns out he's gone for the week already....fml. Sabbatical sunday i guess LOL. I was going to do the nightfall one again but I saw that nothing was listed under rewards so there wouldn't be much of a point. Anyone know if you can get the same rewards again? or when the weekly strikes refresh? When is the weekly refresh? I assume it is tuesday since thats when the game came out? Also, whoever is having a hard time levelling past 24, best advice i can give you (if you are going vanguard), do the strikes until you get as many vanguard MARKS that you want or just max out at 100, and then go into moon or earth with a friend or two, spread out and complete bounties and patrol missions to finish getting your REP to rank 2. Spread out throughout the planet and it will go by very quickly. You will also find public events doing this, I found a bunch and managed to get a few strange coins and legendary engrams, it is a much better option than simply grinding for engrams. Once you have a legendary, work on upgrading it to increase its light, eventually raising your level. Then you will have access to the hardest difficulties, but at least you know you are going to get something worth your while when you complete them, unlike trying to get lucky with engrams for 99999999 hours... So yeah, sucks that Xur leaves so soon... Was stoked to go buy that 3 eyed mask for my hunter, looks like I'll have to wait a week while my friend boasts his fancy 'sunbursts' gauntlets. Probably going to stock up on helium filaments and shards for my upgrades until the refresh since theres not much else to do with everything completed, that or get -blam!- in the crucible, not sure yet., xbox one, whoever wants to play add me up! : LetShwayze Beat
