PS3 error problem reading game content
When I started to play, got to the first city, game froze I got a black screen and my PS3 rebooted
Now everytime I start the game, it gets stuck at "verifying content" (7%).
Please note that I have reinstalled the game 3 times already.
Is there a fix ?

2 RepliesSame problem, only my situation is a tad different from you guys after reading your little conversation. I was enjoying playing destiny and made it to the first moon mission before I received the "problem reading game content...". Restarted the playstation and it kept getting stuck on 17% at verifying content. I own a playstation slim (120gb?), so it's most likely not your play stations causing the problem. The other thing is that I downloaded it from the playstation store rather than buying a hard copy, so It might not be the disk either. I'm currently re-downloading now to see if that works for me.

Good news so far it's working. I wiped my PS3 hard drive and reinstalled the game. There was probably some corrupted hidden files on the HD.

I will try to backup all my saved games to PS+ (I subscribed for 1 month for 9.99) Its the only easy way to backup copy protected game saves... Then I'll wipe my PS3 completely and re-install the game... I'll let you know if it works.

12 RepliesI'm having the same problem on my PS3 and I've looked to see if there are solutions to this but I haven't gotten anywhere,it's very frustrating and I really hope this is going to be fixed.
