  • That sucks. I hope it does somehow gets bumped to come in tomorrow for you. I doubt redbox would have it in their kiosks now and I rarely use them so idk. It be worth it to pay just a small portion for a day or two. If that at all is possible then at least you'll have it installed. If not just keep hitting up the chat and keep getting $5. By the time you get your game you'll have it paid off. Hence they refunded you for the delay.

      thats pretty nice of them....because im sure they could check if they have given ya 5$ credit already..10$ and hopefully a push on a day to get ya your stuff a bit faster...guys again this is something you have to expect with a game as well known and promoted as destiny...just because you can preorder an item dosnt mean they will be able to ship it let alone meet the demand...luckily i believe bungie has their shit together proof of this is in your post..all you can hope for is that it "does" actually arrive..partly why i went for the Digital download on the ps4 was due to this worry...but i did it my own way for my own reasons i know some of you dont have the next gen console yet and are getting the bundle for said reason..patience is a virtue i suppose..

        • That really sucks. My boyfriend made me cancel my ghost edition on Saturday for money reasons (I was asked that day to work a freelance job in my free time that would have covered the cost by the way). Then he went out to dinner last night and paid half the bill for all 4 people. No ghost edition for me (paid for by me), but dinner and drinks at a nice restaurant for him and someone else. So yeah....there's that. Hope your delivery comes on time :)

          • Ouch... I feel fortunate. My ghost edition from GAME is due tomorrow morning before 12 noon... is release day still so I'm happy :-) was hoping for it a day early though... They normally ship pre-orders by royal mail, which means I would have had it today... but because of its size, they are using DPD instead

            • I had a very similar experience this morning albeit with a different result. In the end I was very lucky to reach someone willing to upgrade me to one day shipping free of charge. Here's the convo: Initial Question: Hi, I preordered this item in June but with a card that has since been replaced. I updated the card 2 months ago in my Amazon account but didn't know until this morning that the order didn't automatically update. The order is now going through but my problem is that the expected delivery date is not until Thursday. Is there any way to get it here tomorrow as originally planned?                     • damn..just be lucky you got the ghost edition at all, ordering it a month after they announced the special editions..most people weren't that lucky to get one...i ordered my PS4 ghost edition on 7/7 right before they sold out...mine is in transit right now from amazon.

                        Same happened to me too this morning. =/ 2 days...and I requested off from work on tuesday and wednesday. Hopefully a miracle will happen and it'll arrive sooner. Pre-ordered the limited edition.

                        Walmart hasn't even said mine (ghost) shipped and they only have 2day. So looks like thursday. I cracked under the pressure though and am getting a standard tonight from game stop that I preordered back when it was announced. When you got a poster for it. I justified this move by telling myself i'll grind this game to the ground so I better have a back up anyway. Also had some titles laying around for trade in.

                      • Yeah that's some bad luck. But hey, on the lighter side of things, you weren't one of the people whose preorder got cancelled altogether. I know at least a couple people personally who had their Ghost Edition cancelled and had to settle for either the standard or Digital Guardian editions.
