I'm sure many of us didn't make an account before we started browsing the forums.
I joined in late 2011, but had browsed the forums since the days of Halo 2.
I believe I actually looked in the forums for the first time around '06, it was before Halo 3 released for sure.
I simply read, but never made an account and commented. Kinda glad I didn't though, I was just a kid.
This place would have chewed me up and spit me out :)

Edited by Charlemagne: 9/7/2014 11:40:09 PMStory time. So, I've told a few people this, and I'm not proud of it. When I first found the site, I thought you had to be an employee to be a member (a member of Bungie is what I thought it was), so I never made an account. I just checked my Halo 3 stats (by searching up my name) and moved along. One day I thought I might be able to trick Bungie's site into letting me have an account. And it worked. I thought I was so clever, until a little while later. My email got a virus. I thought it was Bungie punishing me or something. I was determined though, so I made another one (this one). I decided I'd make a complaint to Bungie, so I went to the forum...and found many other people...who weren't Bungie employees. Damn. I'm pretty sure that Hylebos was actually the first person to reply to something I commented on. That was shortly after I got a warning for making an all capital letter title.
