Isn't the point of a sniper rifle to be quick, precise and a distant *assassin*, denoting that you *don't* want people to know you're there?

Being louder doesn't make the sniper rifle any less quick, precise, or distant in it's applications. Also, you can tell from the lens glare that's visible from the other side of the battlefield that these weapons aren't designed with an emphasis on stealth, so they may as well sound as powerful as they are.

Are you saying snipers in real life arent designed for stealth, or just arent designed for stealth in the game..
