Theories About The Hive

I recently watched a video by youtuber "killworthy Gaming" (linked above); if you haven't seen it, go and check it out before reading any further. So, the video postulates a correlation between the two enemy factions; the Hive and the Fallen. The Hive appear to be the undead remnants of former fallen warriors. The video got me thinking about how the Fallen could have undergone such a dramatic biological mutation; and then it hit me. As we know, ghosts (who share a small amount of the traveller's power) posses the ability to re-incarnate deceased guardians, but what if we weren't the first to behold its power? The Traveller came into contact with many species on it's journey across the galaxy, what if the Fallen had harnessed the power of the traveller against its will, granting them unnaturally long life. However, unable to handle the power of the traveller, many of the Fallen were mutated into what we know now as the hive. Perhaps, the Fallen are assaulting the last safe city in an attempt to cure their accursed family, using the power of the Traveller. The Destiny Wiki describes the Hive as an "impossibly ancient race". This got me thinking about the Vex. "Impossibly ancient". So old that there was nothing like them in all the universe. What if they had travelled through time? What if the Hive is the future of the Fallen? Maybe, in the near future, the Fallen will discover a means of time travel, they could go back to a time when the Traveller was young and weak to leech its power . This supports my theory of the Fallen abusing the traveller's necromancy powers and becoming the Hive. It is possible that the Vex have entered our timeline in order to purge the Hive before they can ever be created. Maybe, the Vex are here to kill the fallen and Hive but they won't let us stand in their way. Of course, this is just me building upon "KillWorthy Gaming's" video. Tell me what you think of these theories. Also, I'm sorry if this post seems to not make sense in places but I am writing at 2:30 AM and I am really tired. I just didn't want to forget any of these ideas

 • The hive do seem like zombie fallen and the darkness seems connected to them (at least in the beta) when you first fight them you get no respawn dark area so it makes me think that the darkness is the dark version of the traveler using dark instead of light and brings fallen dead back to life corrupted in to what we know as the hive (no freewill just a hive mind) The fallen are very intresting because we know that some align themselves with humans (the awoken anyway) at the reef
possible 4th race in future dlc?
the hive however dont align with anyone (correct me if im wrong) and seem like the flood off halo
