Congrats for sharing something that just about everyone knows. But let me ask you this, if they wanted everyone to get the codes why not just give all the stuff to people on day one?
It would just make the codes pointless...
Not to mention the other posts just like this one, there has been about 20+ over the last two days.
Also in my opinion if everyone has these items than they won't be special... I'm sure others would agree...

It is true that the rewards for these codes won't be special, but enjoyment of these codes is not contingent upon whether or not anyone else has them. Maybe it matters for the emblem, but do you really care about being recognized by the community as someone who completed a google maps tour?

It's grimoire cards and one emblem, with the original 17 codes that DeeJ said we could/should share with everyone. As for the emblem, it's not like it's a game breaking piece of gear.

for those who are just saying that the cards are just cards it has been confirmed that some while you check them gives you buffers and stats boost but have to check them individually so who knows what these ones will bring

These are essentially free the "cards" are purely so you do not have to explore/do whatever it is. This making it easier for us beta players because most of these cards are what we've explored these will mostly likely count towards grimoire score or something not beneficial but its there if you want it.

They are items buddy not grimoire, you get those by playing the game. We will find out on 9/9 . The one for the planet explorer is a in game name plate.

Basically these codes are common knowledge by now.... In the country I live in we have freedom of speech... Some kid on a forum isn't going to deny my rights...

Yes I know this, I redeemed these codes months ago, just saying you should stop discriminating the author because there is no need, there are some people who are grateful for his help because this post introduced them to the codes they may not have seen the other posts

The first 17 are cards referring to grimoire cards is that not obvious? These are from the collectors edition. Last is a tag yes.

I'd agree but Bungie did tell the people the cards are theirs to keep but the codes can be shared. So better question if their not meant to be shared why not just make them one use.

Same reason they let people invite their friends into the beta by giving them extra codes. To advertise by word of mouth and giving the players something to talk about. All marketing, not bad nor good just business.

And people get on at different times dipshit. I posted mine at 4 in the morning when I couldn't find a thread with the codes so the people in that time zone could see. And obviously a lot of people haven't gotten the codes with all the people saying thank you.

Well a quick search at 4 in the morning would have came up with a bunch of posts, not to mention they will probably be bumped within the day bringing them up further in the threads list. They handed out the cards and if you finish the planets you get the last code. They are just going to be grimoire cards most likely. It's not a big deal. They would rather everyone redeem them and be even more happy with the day one game then have only the guys who went to those geek conventions get them.
