Who else is staying with Limited?
Does anyone else think that 50$ (idk how many pounds) is a little much for the ghost toy in the ghost edition? Im getting Limited which has everything except that and im fine.

1 ReplyEh It's more about dedication than the figure itself. I mean it is electronic, it does have lights and sounds, but it's still kinda cheap. It's more about "I like destiny so much that I bought this version to show it".

Yeah, I was lucky enough to get my hands on a LE when my store stock was running low and I was really happy to get that tbh. Today I get a phone call saying I can upgrade to the GE, Christ I have never wanted to get to the shop so damn fast. At the end of the day it is each to his own, what one thinks is low price another may not.

I would've got the ghost had it not sold out in like 6 hours here. I'm more than happy with limited though can't wait to get my hands on it!

Yeah, the ghost edition seemed like too much for me. Well that, and my old lady would kill me for getting yet more crap that would lay around.

Sure the Ghost is cool, but not that cool after a while. It'll just be another dust magnet on the shelf. The Limited is enough, some cosmetic DLC stuff like the emblem and the ship design at start. Some IRL stuff like the weapons guide, the star-chart and the cards from the Golden Age. And of course, the expansion pass for Dark Below and House of Wolves. Since I preordered at Gamestop I will also get the red and a little bit faster Sparrow and the Vanguard Armory early access.

I own the Digetal download of Destiny. It came with 4 Game add-ons for $130 australian. Paying the extra $30 was worth it.

When I preordered I wanted the GE and was bypassed and forced to settle for the LE. Now EB Games is forcing downgrades of LE preorders to Standard Editions with no compensation. It's BS but they blame Bungie for not meeting commitments. I myself dont know what to belive snd may just walk away. VtxR - PS3

I went with just the LE. Seemed like the best value.

At the time i didn't have the cash but having gotten my tax back now i do have the money and would've ordered ghost if i had known

I'm satisfied with the Limited Edition. I didn't feel like I needed the Ghost and saved the money to invest in other titles coming out this year. The Limited Edition has everything I need including the upcoming mini-expansions.

I probably would have gone with the ghost edition if I could have. And I probably would have regretted it later. I'm happy with limited.

Well, in America, most toys or collectibles such as this item do tend to sell for over that price, especially if they're quality (which, knowing Bungie, is most likely the case). Can't help it. Things are more expensive now than they were before.

2 RepliesYeah whoever spent that much money on the toy is an idiot. I bought the Digital Guardian Edition, but only to save the money later on the expansions; it's only likely to be 10 bucks, but I like to save money wherever I can. :)

I didn't preorder a Ghost edition because I thought " why would I want to spend that much on a toy, I don't even know if I am going to love the game enough to want." I now regret it. That being said, I'm sure we will get other cool special editions in the sequels, so I'll know better for future.

I'm getting the Ghost Edition. And it's because I am gonna cosplay my unfinished Hunter Bladedancer outfit I customly made on the midnight release. So then I'll be receiving my "Ghost Companion" when I do get my Ghost Edition of Destiny XD Besides I'll be using it for next year's Kawaii Kon 2015 here in Oahu, Hawaii since I live here anyways xD
