Why bungie why? You shldnt listen to the kids that bitch about everything in the game its not you fault that they -blam!-en suck. the game shldnt be nerfed for shitty players that's their problem. they need to quit bitching their already ruining the game and its not even out yet like really quit bitching your a shitty player deal with it don't ruin the game for the rest of us that like it the way it was

Why so you and 90% of the community can use SOLEY AR's? When a vast majority of the population uses one class, then obviously there is a balancing issue.

Wtf is soleys AR and class distribution has nothing to do with it all class are equal just different skills and the games not out yet so why Nerf it your just a crappy player trying to defend other crappy player

A crappy player defending a crappy player? So your saying everyone is crappy then if pretty much everyone is/was going to be using the AR. All other classes were buffed and only the AR was nerfed. That right there is proof enough the the AR was way above the standard. But since your stupid enough to believe that the class distribution has nothing to do with balancing, I highly doubt you will understand this concept. Again - if everyone uses AR's and hardly anyone uses the 6 other classes, then obviously there is something wrong with the balancing! How is that so hard for you to understand?

One of the reasons they held an beta was to acquire player data and fine-tune the game accordingly. That's why it was nerfed. They are trying to make the launch balanced, so they don't need to make as drastic changes right out of the box... Even though they probably will. It's a changing game, so why is changing it to promote diversity of playing style a bad thing?

Your right about the beta but it main reason was to make sure they could keep the servers up and running its a hole new style of gameing for a system never done before on a platform the beta wasn't so they cold Nerf shit it was so they cold make sure everything worked right and what does nerfing shit have to do with peoples play styles you don't need to Nerf it for that its because kids like you cldnt play the game how it was cause you kept dying to much or whatever else it is

You see, the connection between play styles and nerfing the AR came from this: If AR is the only viable option to play as, why would you even use the other weapons? Bungie wants us to utilize the game to it's fullest, and if every player is using the same guns, are we utilizing it to the fullest? You know, is it more interesting if all people can use what they want and what suits their build, instead of almost having to use a certain weapon because it gives an unfair advantage? For the record BTW, I used Cydonia AR3 exclusively on the last days of beta because it was a beast to use. And that's the problem. Scout rifle was the only other option, but even it AR outshined by a mile. PS. I'm sorry if I sound condescending, but my argument stays. Edit: Also, it didn't most probably come from the community outcry, but from pure statistics. They've got information on EVERYTHING everyone has done in the game. If they see that in PvP AR is used way more and is used to achieve more kills than other weapons, it's an obvious sign that something is off balance.
