Yea i suppose you're right about the nerf but we will soon find out though the raids don't sound like it will be too difficult. Every other mode has MM of sorts, why is it so objectionable to have one mode with [u]one[/u] mission be different?

Because it isn't ideal. The way it is now, does not allow for easy team ups. That may be deliberate, but its still not ideal, because this is a game. We just want to play. And just because it was designed to be something ppl plan and "train" for. Ppl will still find ways to add randoms on the fly. [b]That will happen[/b], unless Bungie makes it so you can't do Raids with other ppl, until the week is up. Or something like that. I want to be able to play a Raid, when my team can't get together. So in order to do that, I have to get more ppl who are down for Raids. As the game is now, the easiest way to do that, would be coming to this forum. Or using other outside game methods. And I don't like that. The only in game method we have is, spamming ppl with msgs. At least to my knowledge it is. Are you going to join Strikes, just to ask ppl if they want to play Raids? Or go to the Tower and Explore to spam msgs, because you can't talk? That's not ideal. Mm and/or Boards, are just easier ways to find ppl in game, who are ready for a specific activity.

I see what you're saying and i guess it's a matter of perception. I don't necessarily think make things easier is always better. I do think there should be a easier way to socialize and interact with people. There is very little depth to creating bonds with people a in-game method to learning about people would be a good idea but I don't think MM would make things better. There has to be a better solution than that one as it will add to the frustration. Personally i know for a fact many people dont play every mode of every game. For people that just wanna play they can play any mode they choose but they have to play by the rules. I know a lot of games that have capture the flag, siege, search and destroy modes that people Nevet pay but still exist. Even campaigns in games never get touched as people go straight to mp. This is just one more game mode catering to a different type of people and trying change some gamers behaviors. I think this gotta have MM thing is brought about this generations lack of patience and feeling like things should be their way. So many people wants things now, results now. People want to put as little effort and work into things as possible while still taking the benefits or rewards. A little time and care put into something can go a long way such as finding a group with the same schedule and agenda as you.

I mainly support a board, which would be the method to learn about players in game. Who are interested in raiding at your specific time. Its an idea that others have suggested besides mm. But since mm gets more support, I add my support to it as well. Imo, its better to have mm, than having neither of them. That's why I said "mm and/or board" in my post. I see your point. But I don't think it's a fair comparison. Raids don't have anything in common with those game types you suggested. A Raid has more in common with co-op modes, than CTF, S&D etc. And ppl aren't trying to change Raids. They are trying to change the method we currently have, for making teams for Raids. It's not that I want to put as little work in as possible. I just want a more ideal way to gather teammates. Adding ppl from the forum, is not ideal. Simply because its not in game. How many good players, will we not have the opportunity to game with, simply because they don't use the forums? BTW adding ppl from the forum, which is what Bungie seems to want us to do, is not too different from the board idea. You go on the forums, ask ppl if they want to raid. Check their stats/gear. Talk to them. Inv them. And that's how you build your team. For a board, you would go to the Tower. Look at a list of ppl ready for raiding. Check their stats/gear. Talk to them. Inv them. We just want an in game method. And in reality, the one we suggest, is almost exactly like the method we have now. Again I'm for boards, not really mm. But nobody seems to support it as much as mm. Although it isn't that different from the forum method we have now.

Well i agree. I think boards would be a great idea implemented in the tower. It could function pretty much as you described it and would help with players finding others. I still don't support the idea of MM especially after Bungie most recent weekly update. It just seems like a bad idea. One that mainstream and casual gamers are mostly vocal about due to the lack of knowledge on a better solution. You bring up some good ideas i hope to see further discussed.

Yea. Like I said man. The only reason I support mm, is because I don't see other ppl supporting boards. Tbh I don't want it. But might as well support the second best, is what I say. But if you agree with the board idea. Try to start spreading it around. Ppl constantly talk about mm, when there is a much better idea that isn't getting any support.

I think Bungie has really lost the plot here. I believe that the majority of console gamers do not want to leave their game in order to play the game. As there is no in-game way of forming a raid or even communicating with people not in your party, people have to go outside the game in order to form a group. This is nonsense, plain and simple.
