Sounds familar to what happen to me at Starbucks in Banning,CA(I was there for MW3 pre-order release) at 6am.I was cold from being hailed on for 3 hours walked in to a Starbucks across the parking lot from Gamestop.Dressed as a Russian paratrooper with full metal weapons,full body armor,gas mask.The people in Starbucks were scared to death LOL.I went and sat on a leather chair and sat there for 15 min,then that's when the SWAT team attacked me with riot shields and rifles(It was amazing).They asked me why was not afraid of them and I answered "I don't fear them and death".But the cool thing was I told them I was there for the MW3 pre-order night. They let me stay at Gamestop just not with the weapons due to scaring the public.So I sent them home.And stayed at gamestop until the pre-order release.It was great day ^_^.I am a console player.

We'll that sounds like a total crock. PD, SO or CHP in riverside county isn't going to roll out swat to come in and have a nice chat with a guy dressed in military gear. Especially if he's carrying anything that resembles a real weapon. If you had metal toy guns then you'd have an orange tip and people would just think you're odd. If you didn't have an orange tip then you've committed a crime. You need to work on your story telling champ. None of that was believable. With the exception of you dressing up in costumes for video game releases.

Actually you'd be surprised how many people freak out and completely ignore the orange tip, people even freak over blatantly fake weapons. There are some serious morons these days my friend.

Things are getting worse as well when you have children getting suspended from school for playing with pink bubble guns, and paper folded in the shape of a gun. Where did the common sense go in this world.

The problem is we've let people (namely politicians for one) demonize guns throughout our society. This "it's the gun's fault" and or "anyone with a gun must be out to hurt people" mentality has been allowed to spread wildly and unchecked for far too long, and it doesn't help when every anti-gun politician uses every shooting (that we only hear about more often due to the more connected nature of our world) to preach about how guns are evil, and that worries me more than anything else. Because as James Madison said, “A government that does not trust it’s law-abiding citizens to keep and bear arms is itself unworthy of trust.”
