I agree with you. If I'm playing a game and my 11 month old suddenly starts crying in his sleep then by all means that takes priority and I will leave the game

That's a cop-out excuse. If real life shit is happening that frequently to where you can hardly commit to a 15-20 minute game then you have no business entering matchmaking in the first place.
