May I ask the difference between Ninjas and Mentors? Sorry, kind of new to Bungie forums. PS4 guy over here, I started coming on the forums during Destiny's beta.
Mentors and Ninjas are cut from the same cloth (being bad-ass community members), but serve different functions. Mentors are the shield of the community, offering advice and sage wisdom upon those who seek it with a keen eye on the #help forum. Ninjas are the sword of the community, seeking out trouble and keeping the boards clean of malicious content. At the end of the day, they're just titles and the people behind them are here to try and help you enjoy your experience with the site. If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to reach out to myself or any Mentor or Ninja. They'll be happy to assist.
Awesome, seems like a great goal to set for myself. :)
I wish you luck the boards, nowadays being filled with trouble and malicious content since the people that post it have nothing better to do.
Ninjas are the community moderators hand selected by the Bungie Webteam to help keep the forums clean. Best advice for becoming a ninja: be an awesome member of the community.
So do you never say things that upset other people? Or do you start interesting topics? Or do you attempt to find compromise in difficult situations? Sorry about all that. I am pretty interested in how this process works.
