I think Gunslinger will be ok and still the number 1 class in PVP. Some of the gunslinger perks give bonuses to all weapon damage and there is a peice of exotic armor you can equip that gives a 4th shot on the golden gun!!!! It'll be a boss killer.

Personally, I see the Hunter Gun Slinger as a support role. I know it doesn't make sense when you say it like that, but hear me out. Break down the sub classes into their base traits. Gunslinger / Striker / Void Walker Support / Attack / Attack Next look at their second sub class Blade Dancer / Defender / Sun Singer Attack / Support / Support So what makes Gun Slinger a Support? His gun! He is that extra gun you need for to cover your ass. Think of it like an MMO. You have Sword, Shield, and magic as both support, and Attack So, we say the Defender is shield, the Sun Singer is Magic.... The Gun Slinger is Sword... As he is the only Character with Weapon buffs, and the speed to get around the map quickly. He can be the one to save your ass, or be fast enough to resurrect you, and get out quickly. Same can be said on the attack side Hunter as a Blade Dancer = Sword Titan as Striker = Shield Warlock as a Void Walker = Still Magic This realization blows my mind btw

So you're saying that because a gunslinger hunter shoots stuff, they are a support class? Everyone in the game shoots things so they would all be support classes. What the does the Hunter in any form do to DIRECTLY help their team mate. Stealing their kills by having better gun output is not supporting them....The Warlock can use a buff to increase everyone's ability in the group and the same with the Titan super. The hunter has nothing that does any of this. This isn't a traditional MMO with the holy trinity. In reality everyone in the fire team is a lone wolf that if they decide to can spec supers to help other players. Just because you are a defender titan doesn't mean that you have the shield buff turned on to give your team shields or damage buffs. And just because you are a Sun Singer Lock and you have radiance doesn't mean that you spec your super into giving abilities to your fire team. Having said all of this, the hunter will be a valuable asset in being able to keep a good damage on targets to take them down. Wiping out adds in a PVE situation quickly makes them a value to keep the team focused on a boss.

I was being sarcastic big tex. I know the trinity isn't used. It was just an example. As for the Gun Slinger being anything of great use in PVE... he isn't to much. Not when you consider that the Blade Dancer has better speed and higher damage out put. I mean, yea the hunter will probably jump the highest with triple jump, but I feel he is primarily a PVP player. I say this because the Shotgun and Sniper can put out the same (if not more) damage than the Golden Gun. But, we will see how it all works out in the future.
