Yes I thoroughly agree.
Don't let a vocal minority force the nerfing of weapons needlessly.
But from the tweaks announced from the Alpha/Beta I don't believe you'll have anything to worry about.
The interceptor was a bit OP IMHO I racked up way too many cheap kills with that vehicle in the Alpha/Beta. Was it fun? Sure but would I've been upset if tables were turned yea I would have been.
So that's a good tweak.
I still find no good reason to equip a hand cannon in multiplayer maybe that will change with the retail version.
Those are the only tweaks I've seen people talking about and they seem reasonable.
So with that I'm confident that Bungie won't tweak every weapon and ruin the balance of a game they've been developing and play testing for years just because of people crying on the forums.

BUNGIE lowered the ROF for interceptors but that's all they did to them. It makes it a little bit easier to get away from them. I got 35 kills in a match just by riding one of them from the start to finish of the match and never died once

They also made only one spawn instead of 2

In beta it was 1 interceptor and 2 pikes per side that spawned. They made it so that only one team get an interceptor that spawns?

there is now a single interceptor in the middle of the map, first team to it gets it; until it's destroyed. If you are skillful or lucky enough to capture it, then it is yours to keep until death. Then it goes back in the middle and the process starts again.
