Too many posts whining about having to wait a few hours longer than others in different time zones. Everyone has to wait until the 9th, wherever you may be. Shut up already. Those few hours aren't going to make any difference a week later, chill people.

People always need to find something to complain about

Edited by Perrinoid_: 8/27/2014 1:54:45 AMHey can you help me? I was wondering if I had to wait til the 9th, wherever I may be?
-
Unfortunately, there will always be somebody who will find something to complain about. "Ugh! Now that Destiny is finally out and I've played it to death, I have to wait 2 whole years for Destiny 2!"
-
Wait, are people actually whining about this? Are they new to video games?
-
-
From what it sounded like was that you get to play as soon as you get it. Thats what it sounded like to me anyway. Doesn't matter tho cuz I live in Washington anyway. =)
-
I'll still have mine early
-
I cant play until I get off work but I'm not on the UPS forums complaining about it...
-
Agreed
-
I'm getting my LE through Amazon so I won't be getting mine till 5-7 pm on the 9th anyway. I'm not complaining, least I get the game at all.

Edited by Wiseone1: 8/26/2014 12:02:10 PMSo: here is what the 2 things that could happen: A. It turns on as soon as 9/9 hits New Zealand B: it turns on 9/9 12:00 pst. It will not be dependent on your consoles clock, it will not be dependent on your registered location or time zone. It is a game release it is going to be simple, making so that multiple locations will not be able to log in because it's 9/8 11:59 where they are is going to be difficult and a lot of coding.

Taken from Bungie's twitter:
Destiny servers will admit Guardians as soon as it is September 9th somewhere in the world. When you play is between you and your retailer.
Again, that's straight from Bungie.
-
It does not matter when I get it, it's going to take me 48 hours to download it. My internet moves at snail speed:(
-
Patience is...... ZZzzZzz
-
i think im going to become a bear and hibernate until 9/9 .-.
-
Honestly, I live in Hawaii, that's only 3 hrs wait, even if you would have to wait a day, who gives a shit, just like you said, those few hours don't matter.
-
Yeah, just set your console clock to New Zealand time.
and then enjoy getting banned from not beeing patient. Hahh!!
-
NewZealand win
-
Could be worse, this is one of the few games coming out on the same day in the UK as in the US. Theres a fair few we've got an extra 3 day wait for so I'll consider myself lucky that Destiny isn't one of them.
-
If you can, can't you technically go at midnight or 12 in the day since that would be a time everyone has? Not sure y we r discussing time zone difference I originally thought this post was going to be about the wait in general & thought to myself (Might as well see all the fuss)
-
I know right, I've been waiting 2 years for Destiny. People can wait 3 hours.
-
It's really no big deal to wait. I'll preload my digital a day in advance, then get out of bed at 2:45, have a shite, a shower, and a sugar free Rock Star, and play Destiny till my eyes bleed.

Im getting it two days later as Amazon is shipping it to me. Some people have to wait literally 3 hours and they're complaining? Go make some friends or get laid if three hours really bothers you that much.
-
We have all been waiting for this game since the moment we were conceived. What's three more hours. Now go on with your life, it's just a game.
-
Agreed, if you can wait a few months and weeks for the game. You sure can wait just a few hours to wait to play with others in other time zones.
