Though Destiny is a little like Dust, Destiny is better with customization, skill, options, weapons, and slightly better net code. Destiny is also a game where you don't have to spend $80 a week just to keep up against other players. Destiny also balances out weapons, where Dust gives the major advantage to people who spend $80 a week and play the game every second of the day. Destiny is not Dust, as AMC's motto is,"It's something better".

Had some corpmates that created dust characters about two years ago. They logged on last month to like 18 million SP unallocated XD Talk about hooked up. Really though, you start DUST by specializing in something, and then branching out. The whole "Keeping up" with other players thing is just really "How versatile are you?" If you stay with any one specialty, you can do good. The main thing with dust is having teammates that specialize in different areas (Logis/Vehicles/EWAR/etc). After fanfest, practically nobody spends money on aurum anymore. Now it's more laid back. You do, however, have the proto-stompers who just want to use all of their suits up before Destiny comes out :) Because once it does, I'm sure that Dust will become even more of a ghost town.
