So basically, you're saying you're happy that a game doesn't have features that hurt nobody and offer even more to the player, nice. The only thing I'm ok with is no trading, so loot is much more meaningful. We were all stubborn pre-teens in our life at some point but flaunting your opinions aggressively on the internet is pretty shameful, have some self-respect.

  • Its all perspective really. By you saying "Hurt nobody and offer more to the player" you are being very vague as to how they help the player. A great example is MM in raids. People are crying out like this is a game breaking feature, yet they don't look at where the feature comes from. Raiding is not a FPS thing, its not an adventure game thing or action game. These elements all exist within Destiny but... ( and a big but ) raids are from MMORPG games. In those games you may "Pay for content that you never get to experience". Those players are not crying or complaining because they understand that a game with that large of scope will have content aimed at a large variety of players (Destiny). With that being said, you need to look to the model for the game type to see where the inspiration comes from. MMO raids don't really have matchmaking because it is game breaking. It creates an awful experience for the player and shows off the content in an extremely negative way. Imagine the outcry of the players who get matched with 5 random people and then try the content and its "so hard" that Bungie has to lower the difficulty. This is negatively effecting the intended audience, the people who take the extra 5 minutes to find some friends to complete this content with. I honestly don't believe MM should exist for raids. Private games? well sure, have at it. Forge? Nope, trademarked with Halo franchise. Split Screen? well guess what, the game wouldn't work with split screen its not designed to have it and most likely doesn't have the resources available to do it.
