Destiny franchise is supposed to lasts over a 10 year period....

Bungie is gonna need plenty of coin to produce enough content to keep us going until destiny 2.
-
Well they are putting $500 million into the games...
-
I call bullshit on that. No company could support itself on one year of 60 dollar sales for ten years, how do they plan to make any money like that?!
-
It's a 10 year commitment to the franchise between Bungie and Activision. That means add-on content and sequels. All that means is that Bungie's not going to whore Destiny out for 25-30's like other franchises, or make "spinoffs" that they call sequels *cough*Mass Effect*cough* Once the story's been told, that'll be the end of it.

Sounds more reasonable that way.

Edited by GeoAzurite: 8/19/2014 1:58:17 PMThey happen to have sold out on all except the 60 I mean hell I bought the ghost edition

They where out of ghosts here :C

Franchise. In other words there's supposed to be a Destiny 2, Destiny 3, etc.
-
yes...
-
Don't know...But it is a fact....
-
Yeah, I know that's what bungie said and all but it just sounds unreasonable from a business perspective. Unless they're planning on two DLC every year. In which case why not just release a new game?

Edited by FallingUp39: 8/18/2014 8:16:26 PMThey were cut a 500 million dollar deal to make the destiny franchise thats where they got the money...
-
That's insane. Bungie really has a lot of weight on their shoulders. Sony and activision are going to sue the hell out of them if they don't make that back. 500 thousand dollars! Just to make the franchise I assume. Probably took even more to make the game with employees and all.

lol I ment 500 million...My bad:)
-
Yeah I figured lol. My sarcasm is too hard XD
