I absolutely agree with pretty much everything except point #2. It does take some elements from MMOs, but Destiny is far from being an MMO. I think giving the false impression that it is one, is very misleading to the point of unrealistic expectations and disappointment. It causes people who love MMOs to believe that there is or should be more features in place from existing ones, which leads to the unrealistic expectations, disappointment, and emotional rants that plague this forum. The people who do not like MMOs hear its an MMO and are pretty much instantly turned away.
So while it may have a few MMO qualities, it is far from one, and expecting things to be added to this game "because its an MMO" are only going to cause turmoil.

It's a cross-breed I would say..a hybrid if you will. So basically a MMOFPSRPG in a way it combines all 3 game types to give in my opinion a captivating game experience

Well, but that's not really what I said. What I said was that this game takes several cues from MMO structures, so it's a fair bet that we'll be able to look forward to regular updates for things like balancing, buffing and nerfing, and general stability. And Bungie has also stated that they plan to provide regular support in terms of updates, not just a couple of expansions. Anyone who has played online games and who has been paying attention to what Bungie says could probably surmise that we're not looking at a one-and-done release.

That makes sense, I agree, I didn't read the whole thing because of MMO in it.

well basically it has the basement of an MMO.. go there shoot this, collect 20 of that, sweep that area, kill 10 of that..etc.. (not what i was expecting from "exploration".. its more the usual "get miniquests" without running into the "city" ) ahh jeah AND a mini sideline story.. which was concerned the intro and background.. quite meager.. (so im a russian refugee ?)
