When D3 first came out, the months before was all the talk of how no one could guess how many months it would take for people to clear inferno. A month of constant crying from 90% of the community and boom it was dumbed down to the point to where anyone could clear it. And because of that, the game grew dull and lost a lot of its player base in a hurry.
You got no clue what you are talking about! Talking shit about Diablo 3 community and making shit up. Diablo 3 died because everything was wrong in the game:, items, loot, boss, skill tree, always online, no stats, story.... They nerf inferno = dumbed down ? The game was dumbed down from the start, Diablo 3 was made for CONSOLE not PC and they are still trying to FIX the game today. INFERNO mode was simply retarded, you had to spent countless hours in a stupid Auction House to get the best gear and for that you need to farm, killing Diablo or any boss in hell simply gave you 3 white and 4 blues .... there was no farm in Diablo 3 and every "exploit" were getting nerf. Inferno mode was so freaking retarded that mobs simply one shot you for 100k damage when u have 5k~hp. There is HARD like games as Demon's Souls / Dark Souls / Dark Souls 2 , where you learn from your mistake and adapt .... to impossible like Diablo 3 inferno-kite mode You are comparing Diablo 3 with an other game ... when you have no clue why Diablo 3 and the community react. Most misleading and bullshit post I have ever seen in #Destiny, Congrats! TL;DR Inferno mode was impossible to do, Solo or full group with the best gear in the game., get out with your bullshit! Dumb ass!

  • You make some valid points, but are a bit confused about why the difficulty was so hard. The real problem with Diablo 3 was the auction house. Because it existed, drop rates for all good things were set to be incredibly low, assuming that players would use the auction house to find most of their gear, and only rely on random drops for a small % of it. When D3 launched, people managed to clear Normal - Hell very quickly, then hit an immediate wall with Inferno. Why? They didn't have the right gear. And the right gear wasn't available on the auction house because nobody had been able to farm Inferno (YET) to obtain it! With such a small % of players actually being able to farm Inferno (mainly DHs abusing the pre-nerfed smokescreen skill, which with enough discipline generation made them literally invincible), and such low drop rates for end game items, it didn't take long for the vast majority of players to hit Inferno with still basically no good items available on the auction house (the few that were, were so rare that they were priced ridiculously). There was never anything wrong with the original Inferno difficulty - people were just too impatient to farm the start of Act 1 for ages and the items that they needed to progress, and so on. So Blizzard nerfed the hell out of it. Then everybody finished it and complained that there was no end game because they'd already finished Inferno. Thus by the time RoS was in development, Blizzard decided to scrap it and start from scratch on the difficulty settings. The only thing they genuinely did wrong (VERY wrong) with the difficulty at launch was scaled up monster DAMAGE with more players in the game (applied to all difficulties). Somebody at Blizzard obviously didn't think that one through. Basically Blizzard made a difficulty that was meant to take months for the first person to genuinely beat (without exploits), and the community simply wasn't willing to farm for extended periods to get there. You were getting one hit killed in the Fields of Misery because your gear was trash blues, like almost everybody else playing. The auction house, and how the rest of the game was balanced to allow for it, completely destroyed D3 before it even launched. But it didn't destroy Inferno difficulty - that was purely entitled and whining customers who weren't willing to go the distance.

  • Lol if inferno was so impossible then how come I was on act 4 before the nerfed it? But yeah I have no clue what I am talking about, I didn't spend 10 years on D2 and haven't played D3 from release. No clue what I am talking about here. Sounds to me like you are one of the cry babies that got it nerfed just so you could complete it. Inferno was hard. It was not impossible. So maybe you should get out with your bull shit and do us a favor and take it out of this game so we don't have to deal with morons like you who will cry the first time you die to get shit nerfed. Run along child.

You got rekt with the first reply and now you are babbling and going out of the subject. So u played Demon Hunter and kite the entire time to reach Act 4 LIKE EVERYONE ELSE who start with a DH OR you played Inferno mode when it was already nerf! You are an imbecile, diablo 3 suck, inferno mode was retarded. And even with that bullshit reply, you still have zero clue why Diablo 3 died.
SupaStaVince It won't happen. Bungie is different. If it was designed to be, it was meant to be. Shitbasaurus I hope you're right ^^ This is my first Bungie game and so far have been super impressed by the company
All I see is a little panic cry baby who hate the Destiny community and Diablo 3 community when Destiny isn't even out yet. Just STFU and GTFO with your pointless thread

ROFL I got rekt huh. By someone who is pulling shit out of his ass to try to make himself look right? Well if you wanna go down that path I can too ^^ For one, since apparently you are not smart enough to read and only see what you want to see, I said dumbing down Inferno is one of many other underwhelming reasons that game lost its player base. Again, nice and slow for you. (Well that and many other underwhelming reasons). Those reasons have absolutely nothing to do with this post, so stick that back up your ass and pull it out on someone else's post you want to try to troll ^^ Two, I played a WD and spent 0 monies on the AH, so again nice try. Sorry that I actually knew what I was doing and knew what gear I needed to get in order to progress through this impossible inferno mode you speak of. And three, yes I am a little panic cry baby for hoping that this game doesn't follow the same suit and makes "end game" easier for everyone to complete. Your intelligence blows me away. Nice try at trying to troll a post with "incorrect information" with pulling random crap out of your ass though. Almost worked, but again good luck on the next thread you try to troll.
