That's like a high school Bball player that loves Bball but Hates NBA..
I hate how it's casual vs. competitive (hardcore) players in the forums..
Shouldn't we be helping each other to make a game that we all love to be better?
How can private matches hurt or spoil the fun for casual gamers?
Edit: well at least we ALL agree, that private matches won't hurt anyone by adding it to the game. Thank you for the posts, I have a bigger understanding for both sides.

I think the problem is the culture, so to speak, associated with MLG. All the really vocal supporters are usually total f*ckheads and would see no problem in verbally abusing anybody with a different opinion, let alone a lower k/d. I mean you can see it in the language of the so-called MLG pros in this very thread. I also don't like MLG because it's making something that's supposed to be fun way too serious. I mean the really competitive types have the right to have fun too, don't get me wrong, but when it starts to adversely affect the rest of the community because of how they treat others it gets to be really annoying.
