Reading post after post and comment after comment. I've learned humanity is in trouble since the Ghosts have chosen so few true heroes. #Dinkle Bot needs a buff in A.I.

This forum is not about Destiny

I should have bought more troll-be-gun spray -_-

4 things. Stupidity has no bounds. Don't under estimate the power of stupid people in groups. Einstein said: There are two things that are infinite, stupidity and the universe, and I'm not so sure of the universe. And lastly those that think they know everything annoy those of us who do.

I've learned that fanboys are pathetic and Destiny is somewhat under-hyped. Remember back in 2013 at E3? Gameinformer said that their most anticipated game from E3 was titanfall! Wanna know what Destiny was? Number 2...this is nothing but bullshit and I have nothing but high hopes for destiny.

Edited by ChaosMetalMarty: 8/17/2014 2:30:22 PMThat CoD Battlefield, and LOL aren't the worst gaming communities after all

I learned that ○_______○ is a great Troll

Edited by DemonRonin: 8/17/2014 2:22:58 PMThat no matter what forums it is, I'm still getting PM from you ladies telling me to behave or stop being mean on these forums. You girls only get away with that cause you have cupid on your side. ;)

Some people deserve a hammer to the brain
-
There will always be conflict.
-
That so many people just assume that one game can have everything to keep everyone happy
-
Edited by Dave---G-: 8/17/2014 1:31:50 PMIv learnt that coming here regularly to keep my destiny interest fresh and listening to everyone winge and moan and argue sucks and I shall be sacking visiting this forum after 9-9-14 because I don't want it to ruin my game.

That most the cool people I have met on this forum will be playing on PS4 or PS3! Where's my Xbox one brothers and sisters??? I have about 20 friends on my friends list that I know will be playing Destiny but I'm looking to add more.
-
That I'm better than everyone
-
I've learnt that you can't spell learnt.
-
That every gaming forum is as bad as Forumfield.
-
That everyone that frequently comes to this forum is a Desticle.

I've learned that: - there's hardly any people left who like working for something in a game, allowing it to have a value / worth in-game instead of it being spoon fed to them. - some people don't like the fact that games like this force the player to socialize. - one too many people think that a game is balanced once it's warped and molded around their preferences. - there's always going to be one person who tries to be smart even when people are acting goofy to brighten up the long lines of text - that "MLG" players are exactly as I imagined them. Not worth my time.

I've learnt that: * A small minority of vocal individuals can make any community seem toxic, where actually the majority of members are all really great people. * That "noobs" and "scrubs" will always (and unfortunately) get the blame, regardless of the overall "per capita" of toxicity remaining the same with or without them (and usually by the aforementioned toxic minority itself). * That this community is virtually identical to every other community centered around an online multiplayer game in these respects. * That I'm ok with all of the above lessons learnt: It's the internet, shrug and move on.

I've learned that people who talk about resolution, and framerate also act like they know how to develop a game; when in fact they know literally nothing about anything usually.
-
I agree with you op, humanity is literally in trouble due to the overwhelming common reality that this new generation is -blam!-tarded

What I learned from the forums: 1. Console Wars 2. Hunters being OP in PvP 3. Bladedancer being awesome, somehow (I admit I like it too) 4. Complaints of the Hand Cannons (come on, it's just the beta, it's not the full game, idiots lol) 5. Lack of teamwork in PvP (true but they don't know how to act like one especially well coordinated in battlefield 4) 6. Dance offs in PvE/PvP and The Tower 7. Fun stuff we learned in our experiences on the Alpha and Beta testings

I have learned that there appears to be a gathering of individuals with seemingly unhealthy levels of fan-dom bordering on cult-like and obsessive tendencies regarding "Detiny". (I suspect these traits could just as easily apply to another game or product.) I am under the impression (and I hope) that this may be due to a number of persons on these forums being young of age and with much personal life experiences ahead of them yet to learn and grow from.
-
I learned that to speak to my husband I have to join this forum and reply to his posts. Also, that I may have to legally change my name to Destiny to get him to say I love you. :)

I learned that when the game comes out next month these forums will empty. A few will remain. The 99% of the players happy with the game will be busy playing and leveling their characters. Only checking here 1-2x a year. The 1% that will remain here are the ones that will continue wanting something nerfed. Mostly, nerf all the guns that kill me. Buff my favorite weapon since I don't seem to kill anyone, even though I'm MLG. The ones that will check here 1-2x a year will be the ones seeking answers why things are getting nerfed only to find out that the LOUD AND VOCAL MINORITY won once again. The majority of players that like the game will be too busy playing instead of coming here to complaint. That's what I have learned.
