I just wanna ask if the game will be free to play? I just hear about the "subscription" thing. You can't connect if your not subscribed is it true?
Hope it is not, Please make it free to play

10 RepliesNo, it is not. Free to play describes a game that is a free download and with no subscription fee, but which is monetized through microtransactions (such as Candy Crush). Destiny is pay to play. The base game costs US$60 (suggested retail price), with expansion packs, map packs, and other digital items potentially costing extra in the future. In addition, like all other console games, Destiny requires an Xbox Live Gold or PlayStation Plus membership to access multiplayer game modes. There is no separate subscription fee above and beyond the normal Xbox Live Gold or PlayStation Plus subscription required to play Destiny. 2 RepliesEdited by FairlySplendid: 8/15/2014 7:19:48 PMNope. - No subscription - Not free-to-play - No pay-for-power situation You need PS+ and XBL Gold. Just like any other current console multiplayer game.

1 ReplyYou have to pay for Destiny, but just the once. Hope that helps, Deadlock.

It's Buy to Play.

What's that about a third subclass? Oh it's DLC? Looks like it's pay to win now!
would laugh if this actually happened
11 RepliesIt's more of a pay to finish. They sell u a half finished game then sell u $20 expansions every 2 months until the next half game is finished called destiny 2.

8 RepliesOnce you buy it, it's yours. But whether or not you need to pay for the online functionality depends on what console you'll be on.
