I don't know if anyone else was bothered by this in the beta, but not being able to turn your character's head in the character creation screen is annoying to me. I am really looking forward to carrying my character over a long time and through the sequels; creating a character then going through a few missions and realizing that the face I chose looks dumb from the side is troublesome. If possible I'd love a fix for the full game.

I agree, I also think a character creator being built into the destiny app to help us pass our time until launch. Would be awesome.
-
I had to create four hunters and complete the tutorial four times until I liked the back of my guardian's hairstyle. Because there was no rotation option in character creation, there was no way to know.
-
Most annoying part of character creation was the lack of turning the head. I hope this is included in the final version.
-
I gotta agree to. When I was first making my exo character I kept trying to turn his head, so then I thought that I wasn't doing something right. Later I found out that you just couldn't. The game would benefit a little more if you could do that.
-
a afro would be nice also.
-
And beards
-
I very much agree. Also if you're big on customization it would be nice to see the back of your head to see the back of your hair style. Also more customization would be really nice.
-
It bothered me...thats why I made a few characters just to look at what they looked like lol
-
I agree, but it shouldn't matter too much seeing as we can only change the entire face rather than all the cheek/brow/nose/mouth/jaw stuff you get in other games
-
Yeah I personally don't think our destiny guardian will carry over because just like the beta there going to add more customization in sequels so I wouldn't be to excited because that's how I wanted it to go but the beta disproved me
-
I kinda hope that they add more things to customize
-
Yeah this was kind of silly. I actually can't think of a single game that has character creation that had no kind of rotation at the creation screen lol. Destiny is a brilliant game in many ways but some of the simple things like this just leave me like...wut? This is absolutely necessary for the release.. ESPECIALLY if there won't be a re-customization option down the line. I don't want to waste time making characters just to see if I like the hairstyle lol.

I hated that myself, i cancelled my pre-order due to this. /Sarcasm
-
head turning isn't what we need. The ability to turn the entire character model, however, would be nice. I don't really like only being able to see my guardian from the front.
-
Honestly I think they will have more character creation options in the full game, I think they were holding some stuff back for the beta.
-
I'll be adding to the agreeing. I like the character creation but being able to turn your head would be awesome. More hair for the humans would be good to but I'm a kid in a toy store when it comes to character creation.

Edited by Ant Deluxe: 8/16/2014 7:42:55 PMId like it if we could take off our characters helmet on the app and in game instead of only being able to on the tower
-
Agreed. And a hairdresser at the Tower please ( I mean, we are talking about ten years here. The option to change your hairstyle from time to time is a must-have)
-
-
Yes, you're absolutely right! Not being able to see the back and sides of my character bothered me so much. I don't think I've ever seen a game with character customization that lacked that feature. I almost couldn't believe it. #feedback
-
It would be fine if they tuned head turning into how it is in Skyrim, because I loved the character customization there. Turning heads up or down, left or right...
-
I thought Character creation was kinda weak. I looked nothing like I did afterwards.
-
Agreed. A lot of the hairstyles look fine from the front but terrible from the back, and that's something you need to know when you're choosing them.
-
I was thinking the same thing. I understood the small variety of options since your head will be covered. I however spent a good 5 minutes trying to figure out if and how I could rotate my character in the character creation.
-
Mmmmmmmmmm iiiiieee guessss that whould be cool
