All joking aside, while some anti-theists may act like they have faith, the average atheist does not. In fact, atheism is just coming to a decision that you won't believe in that which has no evidence. Most atheists don't announce themselves. They just feel nothing, when others feel the holy presence. They may go to church, bow their heads, but no words come, no feeling.
At the end of the day they decide that their lack of faith means nothing. They have no hole in their lives.
Most Americans are non-identified atheists. They don't go to church, they never pray, they don't hold to even the most basic tenets of any faith. The only difference between them and me, is when asked they say they are Christian... they guess. But they are not.
