Coastal erosion is the wearing away of land and the removal of beach or dune sediments by wave action, tidal currents, wave currents, drainage or high winds (see also beach evolution). Waves, generated by storms, wind, or fast moving motor craft, cause coastal erosion, which may take the form of long-term losses of sediment and rocks, or merely the temporary redistribution of coastal sediments; erosion in one location may result in accretion nearby. The study of erosion and sediment redistribution is called 'coastal morphodynamics'. It may be caused by hydraulic action, abrasion, impact and corrosion. On non-rocky coasts, coastal erosion results in dramatic (or non-dramatic) rock formations in areas where the coastline contains rock layers or fracture zones with varying resistance to erosion. Softer areas become eroded much faster than harder ones, which typically result in landforms such as tunnels, bridges, columns, and pillars. Also abrasion commonly happens in areas where there are strong winds, loose sand, and soft rocks. The blowing of millions of sharp sand grains creates a sandblasting effects. This effect helps to erode, smooth and polish rocks. The definition of abrasion is grinding and wearing away of rock surfaces through the mechanical action of other rock or sand particles.

Your age is showing OP. Blink is a 3rd level magic user spell from AD&D in the 70's.

Blink has been in a lot of games, wow, tibia, and many others.

We'll even if it's not true, in going to be my Warlock, dressed in all black, and become Corvo! But with a sniper rifle.

Edited by Celer Umbra: 8/13/2014 4:01:30 AMIt is a Warlock and Hunter movement mode, not just Warlock. Edit: Also the Warlocks in the trailers are never shown using Blink. Hunters have been shown using the ability in the trailers. I just wanted to point that one out by the by.

Oh yeah... that's right you are a genius... no wait a minute the Mages in World of Warcraft had a sort raged teleport spell called "Blink" there were also spells teleport spells in the old pen and paper D & D rpg. OH MY GOD... That means the guys at Blizzard invented a time machine went into the future copied Dishonored's Blink went back in time and mistakenly told the guy who made the original D&D game about it and then put it in their game.
please think before making posts
The terminology for blink has been around since atari days...
-
Blinking has been a thing since tabletop fantasy RPG's have been a thing.
