I love this game so much, but the balance of the auto rifles DESTROYS PvP. At any range short of sniper range, the ARs overpower scout rifles, which are handcannons with range and bigger mags, and pulse rifles are just awful as well.

I would beg to differ, Scout Rifles are the boss at most ranges, vert short range = AR (still beaten by shotguns) long-medium = Scout Rifles Very long = Sniper

Shotguns definitely for close range especially if you get an auto fire one, short-mid range fusion rifle because the spread makes it less effective farther away, mid is a pulse rifle with increased stability after each hit or an AR with high stability, mid-far is a scout rifle with high impact and damage output and it helps to have some elemental damage, far range sniper. Each gun also has downsides, but the best overall is a high magazine high Rabil it's Hgh damage medium fire rate AR.

I pull a scout rifle/sniper combo for my Titan. I use my sniper for cross-map things, my melee for close range, and my scout rifle for everything in between.

this man right here has the idea, I generally run Scout/Sniper. Couldn't decide on specific loadouts so in my inv. I always had 2 ARs 2 Scout Rifles and a Pulse (for the lolz) Always preferred the control of the Scout Rifles though. Quick kills, great precision and decent size clips
