I completely agree with at least toning down AA (i'd love the option to shut it off completely) but I have a sneaky suspicion AA is tied to hit detection, and removing/turning down AA would send hit detection out the window.

  • You may be right. If so, then whoever at Bungie that is responsible for the coding of this, sure needs a serious talk with their QA/testers. Because it's something that should never be "tied" together, and not leaving any room for change or editing.

  • I agree, but someone down the line brought up the fact of latency, and many games that go straight up pure player skill, with no Aim Assist at all usually have massive hit detection issues (Dust514). Also, as I mentioned a few replys down, GameInformer had a great article on Aim Assist a few years back, and its much more involved than a program helping you aim. But I agree, it is too much, and needs to be at least toned down.
