Assassination moves and slow/no moving not showing on the motion tracker, sure. But I don't consider that stealth. But invisibility-like stealth? Maybe as a halo-style power up but NOT as a class ability. Take a look at WoW rogues for how badly that can go. Either it becomes too weak to and doesn't matter (at which point, why add it?), or it becomes extremely strong to the point of being near OP (if not OP). For those that haven't played WoW, the rogue class has stealth. They can't be seen unless you practically run through them while stealth is activated. The ability has come to define the class and they have easily become the most despised class by others. But it also means that they're pretty weak when caught outside of stealth...so they were given ways to help them get back into stealth. Regardless of if the class was OP or not, the ability came to define them and imo is horrible for PvP balance. As such I would NOT want to see such a thing happen in Destiny. And given how HP works in this game, going invis (even as an ability) just has too much potential for balance problems.

  • It's important to note that when the other people replying to you talk about stealth, it won't be like rogue stealth. It will, so far as I know, be more like the stealth seen used by some vandals so far.

  • Sorry to be the barer of bad news but blade dancer already gets invisibility from multiple perks.

  • Then it's going to be interesting to see how they balance it in PvP. Won't matter too much in PvE, but I'm expecting either a lot of hunter QQ about how they're still spotted with it up, or everyone else QQing about how they keep going invis.

  • Well I think, mind you I didn't get to test it much, but I think you're off the radar when invisible. At least unless it was a bug that's what I experienced with stealth vandals. Maybe firing your gun disrupts the invisibility.

  • The other question would be how long does it last for. But if it is a short duration and you look like the NPCs did then it might not be too bad. You could still tell where they were and all...which I can see leading to hunter QQ of "ZOMG I IZ STALTHD HAOW DID DEY C MEEE!!!!!" Though I hope the community doesn't gain too many people like that.

  • It also depends how much longer shadowjack increases it, there are going to be a lot of shadowjack invisible crouch snipers... I'm only choosing this class because it looks like the best melee class, plus stick bombs sound like good tank killers.

  • To add to that, there's at least one weapon that cloaks the user as well.

  • "Time and Patience" it's a sniper that cloaks you when you aim down the sights if I remember right

  • Does it cloak the red light too? That's what gives sniper away the most.

  • That I'm not sure, though my guess is no.
