Lolz. The Campaigns are progressively worse.
-
Yeah but who plays halo for the campaign. Its all about the PVP and at halo 3 the custom matches.

Edited by Tartan 118: 8/5/2014 10:29:44 AMMillions of people play Halo for the Campaign. This statistic is from H4 alone (which actually has a better Campaign than H3).

Halo 4 the PVP was shit. The game itself was shit, don't reference anything about Halo from Halo 4 lol

Woah, an opinion! I think you'll find that H4 had a multitude of good points: Harder scifi art direction Colour (which Reach sorely lacked) Great audio design An awesome new enemy faction A fantastic story, largely better than most of the action-driven guff Bungie churned out Slick, tight controls Great MP mechanics

And yet a terrible Multiplayer and thats all that really matters about Halo, cause well unless you just re-run the campaign 50 times, thats all there really is. Some custom game maps were awesome but thats the community not the developers. They just milked the name and unfortunately for them, the community instantly caught on and its the worst Halo to date you can slap all the sounds, visuals whatever you want on it. Ultimately its gameplay that matters and it's just the same ol crap on worse maps.
And yet a terrible Multiplayer and thats all that really matters about Halo, cause well unless you just re-run the campaign 50 times, thats all there really is.
Campaign is what drew me into Halo in the first place, and its beautifully crafted sandbox and design is the main reason I play. Straight-up Campaign playthroughs are all well and good, but don't forget Terminals, Easter eggs, glitching, Skulls and multiple difficulty levels.
you can slap all the sounds, visuals whatever you want on it. Ultimately its gameplay that matters and it's just the same ol crap on worse maps.
Yeah, the maps weren't great. Did have some gems, though, especially in the DLC. That said,. better audiovisual design is an excellent in for quality gameplay, which is what H4 had: slick gunplay and the hilarious shenanigans of multple power weapon drops for each player per round. Best Halo MP since 3, easily.

You're on of the few that think that. Community shows that Halo 4 was a disappointment. What the community came to expect from the Halo games was just not there, this is what people took for granted from bungie. They always made innovative designs for the game changing it enough that it doesn't feel generic not altering the game enough that the same could still be expected for previous titles its a fine line and very hard to pull off. 343 came in with some minimal, half assed changes, think this is what made most people dislike it, they showed they are not in the same grade as bungie when it came to the game, they showed a true lack of innovation for the game. Not enough for it to feel any different, they tried but didn't pull it off. (Most Halo veterans instantly got this vibe.) I myself didn't like it, i can't put my finger on the details i didn't like but more of the whole experience was just lacking, its the first Halo for me that never inspired me to want to play the campaign i played a bit of multiplayer and was underwhelmed with it after that it didn't take long till i just stopped playing. (Exact same as Titanfall.) This is getting a bit long but to me they played it safe, when they should of taken risks even if the risks didn't pay off least they would know where they went wrong and what they could try differently Halo 5 would of been much more promising were it sits now, it's a safer bet that there just gonna do it all over again and kill the title.

Why do people say 1-3 if there's 4???
-
Edited by Fixit: 8/3/2014 6:37:29 AMBungie didn't make the 4th And the 4th is kinda swept under the rug.
-
Bungie made reach and halo wars the rts. That puts them at 5 lol
-
Bungie didn't make Halo Wars.
-
Right I meant halo 3 odst wars was ensamble.
-
And i said the halo series... Odst and reach are not part of that.
