Customization, variety, diversity!

Destiny can feel a little bland at times. In some areas, more customization would be great, in others, I don't think it's necessary. What we do need: -Better character customization. We need more skin tones, more faces types, more hair styles. We ned facial hair, we need to be able to turn our characters! We need more options, in short. -More diverse weapons and armor One of the most fun parts of MMO's is the vast diversity in weapons and gear. Now, I'm not saying Bungie needs to create whole new types of weapons, we just need more diversity in weapon models. Right now, they pretty much all look the same. As for armor, the same is true. It all looks exactly the same. I mean, at this point, Halo 4 has more armor customization than Destiny. Think about that. We need more diversity! What we don't need: - More Enemies Although there's been a lot of complaining about the diversity of enemies, I think it's actually pretty decent. We've actually only seen two of the enemy races that will be in the full game. We've seen The Fallen and The Hive. We have not seen the Cabal or the Vex. That's four species total. Assuming the Vex and Cabal have similar numbers of classes, that's six types of enemy per faction. That's 24 different types of enemies already. But there are also bosses. We know of at least two types of boss that The Fallen have, so assuming other races have a similar number again, that's eight more enemies, bringing the grand total to 32 enemy types. I don't know about you, but I think that's pretty decent for an fps. And who knows, maybe future DLC will bring even more types of enemy. -Character names I don't have a strong reason to say we shouldn't have character names, but I don't think it's necessary. Unlike most MMO's, we already have our gamer tags to distinguish us in an online setting, so we don't need a character name for that. But like I said, I don't really think there's a reason to avoid namable characters if players want that option. I just don't see it as necessary. What do you guys think?

 • I would really like to be able to change the color of your guardians light. So say as a Titan using Fist of Havok (Super) instead of Blue lightning it could be Red. We could change to a color of our choosing to better diverse ourselves in the world of Destiny.
