Not a single game supports cross generation play, so why would Destiny?

Not a single one? Need for Speed Rivals did for Xbox One and Xbox 360 and someone in this post also mentioned some games for the PS3 and PS4 that did this. So I do not see why Destiny cannot :/

Final Fantasy Online, DC Universe Online both support cross generation. Final Fantasy also does cross platform to PC as does Portal 2.

All those games mentioned above are PS3 and PS4 titles too. Final Fantasy Online is cross Generation and cross platform. They all play on the same server. It's soOoOO good! DCU is cross generation. PS3 and PS4 play on the same servers. Portal 2 is cross platform from PS3 to PC through STEAM. This is actually one of the reasons why I went PS4. Microsoft keep on shutting down the idea of cross platform gaming which I think restricts the machine and their franchise. I am hoping the Planetside 2, which it comes to PS4 later this year, which is a free to play game like DCU, will be on the same servers as the PC too. But I hear there maybe complications.
