I guess it depends on what you mean. Certainly there are different pronunciations (classical and ecclesiastical) and there is debate about even those. So you might be right that no one speaks Latin exactly the way it was once spoken.
But otherwise there are definitely people who speak Latin (even fluently), just as there are people who speak Elvish and Klingon (and those were never living in the first place). I'll admit though, when I speak Latin, I sound like a two-year-old (limited vocabulary and plenty of mistakes).
We could also say that these dead languages are alive, insofar as they are still with us. For instance, your name, Lord Kronos. Kronos comes from the ancient Greek meaning "time." So you are Lord Time (cool name by the way). Of course, you could also be Lord Kairos another Greek word for time, but with a slightly different meaning. Kairos means the opportune time, or the right time, which might be perfect for a skilled sniper in the crucible. Lord Kairos would be the master of striking at just the right moment.
