Since there is no matchmakin and that seems to be makin alot of people upset. Maybe they can make finding a group a little easier without matchmakin.
For example, maybe they can make a npc in the tower that you can speak to that will queue you up for a raid.when there is enough people to make a 6 person team for the raid.you start the raid with those people.
Or it could be some kinda of terminal you interface with (like how you access your vault) that you just walk up and press interact and when 6 have done this, you have your team for the raid.
Dunno.... just thought i had, that might make it a little easier to help out people who are not as sociable, than trying to put in matchmakin if bungie doesnt want to put it in.
Fundamentally speaking, this is still match-making. The whole point of doing away with match-making for Raids is to promote the social aspect of co-op play, which is why Clans exist.
Edit: it's just a matter of time before a common meeting place is established at the Tower anyway. Here, you'd be able to recruit potential fireteam members for raids, Nightfall missions, or whatnot. Given that you are the fireteam leader, this will allow you to inspect each players gear (and overall team synergy) in order to gauge the likelihood that you'll be successful in your mission.
