My assumption is the loot you get in the post strike "mission report" is suppose to represent boss loot.

However, you can't repeat mission with the reward. What is encouraging players to replay this game and increase the longevity for months and months, even decades as Bungie has stated they would do?

Edited by Remmuz: 7/29/2014 4:17:41 PMWhat ya mean not repeat? I practically singlehandedly updated all my gear repeating the strike and getting the post game report loot. Edit: plus frankly, hopefully people should repeat a mission because its fun to play, not to farm loot.

Edited by Vallee25: 7/30/2014 12:28:46 AMStrikes aren't going to be always available and I can only play the same missions over and over before it gets tiresome, without there being a challenge or reward to entice repetitive play. It should be fun, challenging and rewarding for someone to be playing this months or years after release as bungie stated they would develop content for this to happen.

Never played world of Warcraft did you?

Edited by Vallee25: 7/30/2014 12:55:24 AMI've played Wow, Borderlands, Defiance those all encouraged me to play instance and raids over and over. Why, because of challenging bosses and rare loot linked to the specific bosses and you were rewarded for repetitive play. On top of that it was fun. Raids were always available all of them all the time, strike missions wont always be available but will be random when there available.

Not sure how Destiny's strikes are any different that Warcraft's instances... They are essentially the same ideas. Get a group, go kill stuff, get loot. Rinse and repeat until you get what you want. Just because devils lair was easy after running doesn't mean the others won't be hard.
