I really have to hand it to Bungie, they did some really good work on the item naming and added flavor text. During the Beta, I found a number of items that had really interesting flavor text or titles. The one I really liked was the Cloak of the Cosmonaut. It's flavor text said: [b]Vladimir Komarov helped build and fly Earth's first ships. He gave his life to the frontier.[/b] This was a nod to the actual cosmonaut Vladamir Komarov who was a Soviet space engineer that helped design the capsules used by the USSR. He died after re-ntering the Earth's atmosphere and a parachute malfunction during a capsule test in the 1960s. It's really cool bits of history like this that shows some good effort on Bungie's part about doing their homework. Plus being a history major and a space history junkie makes this extra cool. Did you folks find any great item names/flavor text?
