I checked in the different threads but saw no mention of this question; hopefully I am not duplicating an already answered thread. Apologies if I missed it. I was playing Destiny during the beta timeframe, though I did not realize that the Moon mission had opened up. The FAQ, ingame mail message, and email sent to me all said that to earn the beta reward we had to be online during 2pm-6pm and made no mention of playing a specific mission. [b]Question:[/b] Was the completing/playing the moon mission a hidden requirement for receiving the beta participant reward? I was actively playing the game during the stress test time.
No, you didn't have to do the moon. You just had to do something, mission (Story, explore, strike) wander around the tower interacting with people, or do the crucible (or the iron banner thing) during the time. Not necessarily be on the moon. They just opened the moon to try to entice a lot of people on at a certain time.
