The art director for Skyrim blatantly lied in an interview, and said, just months before release of Skyrim, that there were no Werewolves in the game. That turned out to be completely false. In fact, the Companions quest line was almost completely centered around Werewolves... lol Just saying... developers say some crazy things sometimes.
