Destiny withdrawal support group
For anyone who is already suffering from destiny withdrawal. This is an open group and we support all people with their varrying levels of addiction.

1 ReplyI used to be a Level 8 titan, aqired full uncomon gear, aquired some rare items, waited since last christmas for the beta, but then, bungie gave us a week of heaven, but, now its gone, i dont know what to do, I was a Complete badass is the cosmodrone, i became feared by the fallen, i became respected in my fireteams, but, its gone, I DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO!

Ever since the beta ended i find myself searching the interweb for any kind of new info, kind of like how i look in the fridge hoping there is something new every time i open the door, or like a crackhead looking for some cheeseburgers. smh

I started up the Beta last night, thinking maybe I was a chosen one. The title music greeted me, and I felt my soul renewing. But alas, I was greeted with a foul red window, which basically stated I was a fool for thinking I might get lucky. I tried to forget about Destiny in some Domination games of BF4. But everytime I got shot around corners, it reminded me of the Fallen. I ended up shutting off the Bawks and going to bed instead, hoping to find myself wandering in the Cosmodrome once again.

I'm Bardock, and I'm a recovering Destinyholic... It hasn't been the same since the Beta dropped. 25 hours of continuous downloading, all for a sweet taste of the forbidden fruit. All my other games and activities haven't been the same since. I tried to play a round of Battlefield 4, but, I found myself trying to summon my S-22 Cavalier or use the Fist of Havoc mid battle. I tried going for a jog to the local shops, but, I ended up trying to use 'Lift' to get there quicker. My body has also suffered. I completely stopped working out to play the Destiny Beta. Whenever I try, I find myself thinking about Destiny in the middle of a set. It drives me to tears and I have to stop what I am doing completely. Please help me...

With the recent alpha and beta, my Xbox shows I've completed 46% of the beta playing for 36+ hrs.. getting only 4hrs of sleep then back to beta, only eating once then beta.. I have to admit.. I only showered once during the beta.. I have felt the horrible toll on my body, but it was so worth it... I have tasted the sweet juices of the forbidden fruit.. It has helped me keep my mind intact, but god help us mid August.. Just one more month of suffering.. yes.. just one more month..

2 RepliesHi, Im lethal, some call me bman... big b.... or batman..... and im a destiny addict. Ive been experiencing shakes, itching, and indifference to my other games. my clan of friends are all experiencing symptoms of withdrawl as well, but im the worst case. Ive found myself curled up in a ball staring at my xbox wondering what is the point of even waking up for the next month. does anyone have anything that will act as a temporary distraction? i just need something to hold me over. just for a month. just until launch night. ive found myself staring at the poster on my wall of the fallen, aching for when i would be able to nova bomb them again. and steal the purple ball and soccer ball from innocent children and hurl them over the edge and laugh maniacly as the other guardians sacrificed themselves to try to save these children of the traveler. please help me..... i need to do something evil again.....

2 RepliesHi, my name is Wolfstar, and well... I'm a Destiny addict. Ever since I experienced my first glorifying moments of Destiny, I couldn't put my controller down. My friends and family slipped away as my hours of gaming increased. Now that the Destiny beta is over, I cannot carry on in my daily life. I have insomnia because all that runs through my head is my titan bashing a fallen dreg's head in, and blowing a hole through his pal's skull with my shotgun. Destiny is always on my mind and my friends are fed up. They say I have a serious problem and tell me to seek help (mostly because I told them I cried when the beta ended). Although, I don't listen to them and I continue to scavenge through the forums for Destiny entertainment to fulfill the same buzz I have been seeking for. All my other games are meaningless to me and I'm stuck waiting like the rest of this community for September 9th of 2014, the day Destiny releases. So please, help me fight through this grueling addiction.

The night the beta came out, I literally stayed up all night playing it. I've moved on to Injustice though.

3 RepliesHi im joe (gt: xx chaos) and im a destiny addict. It all started before the beta began. I'd sit beside my xbox caressing her and whispering sweet nothings to her, waiting for my lover to put out Destiny. Once the beta began, everything else ended. Never have i enjoyed quality time with my controller like I did while playing Destiny. Hours of my life are embedded into that 1080p sex godess known to all of us. As soon as it all began, it ended. She left me without notice or a proper good bye. Now i find myself dancing in public places only to look like a loon. No one understands how much my heart bleeds. So until sept 9th i will dream about my warlock until we meet again...

Everyday I go to the destiny beta load screen and wish it will come to life. I miss this too much already! Sometimes I wake up in the middle of the night and feel i'm super charged. I was doing really well for a while... The sweating and fidgeting had stopped. But I relapsed! I loaded Destiny up just to see if it would work! I need my fix, man!!!!!

My wife and kids don't talk to me because all I can speak of is more and more Destiny. I turn my PS4 on and just stare at the Destiny Alpha and Beta icons. I need help. :(

Hi! My name is HelluvaRoman and I am suffering from Destiny Withdrawal. Over the course of the 5 days I was able to play the beta, I racked up over 36 hours of playtime. I was almost always in a fire team with friends as well. Now that the beta has ended I don't know what to do with my life. I dream of performing backflips on my sparrow, salivate at the thought of the next engram drop, cry over my unfinished tower soccer match, and laugh reminiscing about the spontaneous tower 3v3 dance-off that I lost. I am unsure how to return to normal life without my ghost acting as secretary. I am considering undergoing cryogenic freezing until Destiny is released and then withdrawing from all outside society.
